Why Enactus
What makes us different

ESG character
Every project advances a UN Sustainable Development Goal, not just a business idea.
This impact character gets companies excited about partnering with us and makes it easier to bring projects to life.

Risk-free execution
You found a real company without carrying the personal risk of founding one.
The association carries liability, structure, and process. You bring the idea, the team, and the execution.

International network
You become part of a network of universities and alumni that reaches far beyond Mannheim.
National and international competitions, partner companies, and an active alumni network open doors beyond your degree.
Membership
What you learn and gain
Responsibility
With us, you don't just build a pitch deck or email five partners. You take ownership of projects, events, and finances with real decision-making power of your own.
A genuine addition to your résumé, and a way to sharpen your agency skills.
Teamwork
Like any startup project, we work in teams, with the emotional highs and lows that come with a project's course.
With us, you learn to push through those challenges, get through stressful phases together, resolve conflict, and celebrate together. The most valuable soft skill there is.
Alumni and advisors
Hundreds of alumni stand behind you, still happy to support new projects, alongside our business advisors, who regularly advise our projects.
Their experience ranges from their own startups to major consultancies to well-known corporations.
Enactus community
You don't just become part of a local student initiative. You become a member of a worldwide Enactus community of committed Enactees who support you for the cause.
Whatever it's about, whenever you need it. Once an Enactee, always an Enactee.
